In Missouri, you won’t run out of amazing places to camp. From primitive trail-side campgrounds to luxury cabins, you can find it all in the Show Me State. However, only one spectacular campground is home to the largest, most unique swimming pool in the state. Lake Paradise Resort is unlike any other campground in Missouri. Summer comes and goes quickly, so don’t miss your opportunity to check out everything this special resort has to offer!
Located just outside of the Kansas City metro is Lake Paradise Resort in Lone Jack, Missouri. This lakeside camping resort has been bringing joy to families since 1976. Originally the campground was for members only, but today the resort is open to the general public.
However, if you love nature but like to do your sleeping indoors you can rent the on-site cabins. All the cabins are air-conditioned and a few even offer full kitchens and bathrooms.
There are five lakes on the property, and there are lots of lakeside campgrounds to choose from. Unwind from your work week stress with a weekend getaway surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.
Lake Paradise's biggest attraction, however, is their massive pool. This unique pool is built right into the lake and it's the largest outdoor pool in the state! It's $5 for visitors to swim all day and $2 for park guests. A day trip for swimming at Lake Paradise is the perfect summer activity.
For the convenience of guests, you'll also find a shower house, laundromat, and restaurant on-site. If you're looking for fun you can play a round of mini-golf, shuffleboard, or horseshoes. There are also two on-site playgrounds to explore.
