The National Museum of Military Vehicles in Dubois, Wyoming opened in 2020 and houses nearly 500 restored military vehicles, artillery pieces, naval vessels, and more inside a beautifully designed space.

At over 160,000 square feet, there's an incredible amount of history displayed here that is fascinating for all ages!

From WWII bomber planes to amphibious frog crafts to helicopters, tanks, Humvees, and more, the private military vehicle collection of Dan and Cynthia Starks is considered to be the largest in the world.

In simple terms, the goal of the NMMV in Wyoming is "to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their families" and "to educate next generations on the history of American freedom." However, what's unique about this museum is the emphasis placed on the vehicles themselves and how they were used on the battlefield, in the trenches, and were often the coffins and stretchers that brought soldiers home.

Every display is carefully crafted, often with reenactments that add authenticity and a human component to the military crafts.
