Have An Old Time Christmas At This Historic Wyoming Mansion
The holidays can be a nostalgic time of year, a time to remember Christmases gone by, but there’s a place in Wyoming where Christmas Past is more than a memory. Every December, the Historic Governor’s Mansion in Cheyenne goes all out, decorating the rooms to the hilt with vintage ornaments and decor. If you’ve never toured the extraordinary manse, the holidays are a delightful time to do it. Not only will you learn about Wyoming governors down through history, experiencing “Tinsel Through Time” is a sure-fire way to get into the holiday spirit.
The mansion is open and free to the public Wednesday through Saturday until December 23rd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Thursdays.
