The Secluded Restaurant In Wisconsin With The Most Magical Surroundings
We’ve got some amazing restaurants all over the state, from-award winning farm-to-table eateries to pubs and taverns slinging amazing burgers. But if you’re willing to travel a bit, we’ve found an awesome, gorgeous restaurant located on a vineyard near the Mississippi River.
Vino in the Valley is nestled alongside Brush Creek in Maiden Rock.
Open May through December, the vineyard offers its own wines, of course, but also a casual, gorgeous atmosphere in which to enjoy a delicious meal.
Everything here seamlessly merges indoors and out and takes advantage of their location to give you a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal.
From pasta with fresh veggies to wood-fired pizza, the menu at Vino in the Valley is unpretentious and chock full of local products.
The pastas are fresh and filling, featuring local produce and cheese from nearby Ellsworth Creamery.
Don't let the setting or that it's a vineyard put you off - this place isn't pretentious and you'll find folks in all manner of casual summer wear.
If you're lucky, you'll visit one of the times they have this amazing indoor S'mores bar.
On Sunday's there's a buffet and you can load your plate with all your favorites.
Everything is set up here for you to enjoy being outside. They will sometimes close for rain, but they make that call by 2 pm each day.
There might be a wait for a table, but just fill up your glass with the local product and head over to play cornhole or go for a stroll on the gorgeous yard.
The sun setting does not stop the fun at Vino in the Valley.
Cozy up to a bonfire and let your night go on and on.
Whether it's celebrating the Summer Solstice, the Fall Harvest or Christmas time, Vino in the Valley has a schedule of events to keep you coming back over and over.
When you're done with your meal, it's a short drive to Maiden Rock Bluff ...
... or Lake Pepin and enjoy the natural beauty of this part of the state.
Located at W3826 450th Ave, Maiden Rock, WI 54750
