Cedarburg is a quaint and thoroughly charming town about 20 miles north of Milwaukee. Founded before Wisconsin was a state, the small town drew folks who built mills on Cedar Creek. Though it’s close to our biggest city, Cedarburg feels miles away. It’s the perfect spot to spend a day shopping and relaxing. This small town has embraced its history. Old buildings abound here and the locals have worked to restore and preserve them. According to the city, there are more than 200 buildings in this area listed on the National Historic Register. Many of them have been repurposed and are now shops and restaurants along the city’s main street.
