As we inch closer to the cooler weather, it's time to start planning some truly memorable Halloween fun. Many fall activities focus on the scare factor of Halloween, making them a little less than family-friendly if you have young kids. But the Nature Center up in Brillion, just west of Lake Winnebago, is offering one of the best fall activities we've ever heard of and you simply won't want to miss it. Get ready for the best pumpkin glow in Wisconsin!
Every year, Brillion Nature Center transforms into a fun and fabulous Halloween Pumpkin farm.
With the help of local volunteers who harvest the pumpkins and school children who carve them, this already-amazing 40 acre Nature Center is transformed for the night.
The result is awesome as the Nature Center’s stroller-friendly Cottonwood Trail will be lined with hundreds of lit jack-o-lanterns carved by local school children during this family-friendly Halloween event in Wisconsin.
Your family will love the chance to have a not-so-spooky night to celebrate all things fall and Halloween.
The friendly jack-o-lanterns light the way with their flickering lights. It's a truly gorgeous way to explore this short path.
Once you're done, head back to the building for a bonfire, refreshments, story-telling, and more.
And the whole thing is FREE. Perfect for children of all ages, this is a popular event, so consider taking the shuttle from Brillion Elementary/Middle School that runs every 15 minutes.
This is a great way to get your kids outdoors without scaring them silly and you also get to explore and experience the brilliant Nature Center. We promise you'll be wanting to come back to this pumpkin trail in Wisconsin again and again.
