The cabin is definitely tiny. It's less than 100 square feet, smaller than some walk-in closets, but the owners have done a great job maximizing the space. For example, it has a sleeping loft.

You can almost forget that this was once a building that dried corn for cattle feed. Did you know these types of structures were first created by Native Americans and later adopted by European immigrants?

While this corn crib is very comfortable, it's obviously nothing like a big city hotel. This is more of a camping experience. For example, water is piped over from the barn's roof-filtered rain water system, and running water is only available in the bathroom sink. The bathroom is a composting toilet/outhouse.

But you can run hot water or crank up the air conditioning to your heart's content when you're back home. This is a place to experience fresh air and nature and slow down with a getaway on an old farm.

The cabin has a propane fireplace to keep things cozy, as well as a hand-operated coffee grinder and a French press to keep the hot java flowing.
