Calling all animal lovers! We’ve got just the place for you to fulfill your desire to get up close and personal with wildlife – Bear Den Zoo and Petting Farm. The zoo and farm combo is home to an array of animals, many of which you can actually interact with. Take a look:
A wild adventure awaits in the small town of Waterford, which is where you’ll find Bear Den Zoo and Petting Farm.
Family owned and operated, the attraction has been educating the public on wildlife for over 30 years!
The menagerie of animals is impressive, to say the least.
Meander around the property, and you’ll find everything from the exotic to the familiar.
One of the best things about Bear Den Zoo and Petting Farm, though, is its several petting areas.
Fun for the young and old alike, the petting areas allow visitors to interact with a variety of animals.
Spend your time at Bear Den Zoo and Petting Farm canoodling with all sorts of cuddly creatures, including lemurs, kangaroos, baby bobcats, and more.
Bunnies, chicks, ducklings, goats, and fawns are also on-site…and available for some snuggling.
You can do more than spend quality time with the farm’s residents, though.
You can also feed them. Feed bags come in small, medium, and large and cost $2, $5, and $8, respectively.
Offering the best of both worlds – a zoo and a farm – Bear Den Zoo and Petting Farm is the perfect blend of local wildlife, farm favorites, and exotic animals.
Bear Den Zoo and Petting Farm is open on weekends May – October. Admission is $10 per person (kids 1 and under are free). Remember, the zoo doesn't accept debit or credit cards, so make sure to bring some cash. For more information, call (262) 895-6430.
