One of the many things we love about West Virginia is all the small, locally-owned, character-rich storefronts that populate small downtowns all throughout the state. Alderson, West Virginia is no exception: this small river town has several quaint area shops that are well worth your time to visit, but none quite so much as the one that’s known as the oldest in West Virginia!
