One of the most popular spots on San Juan Island, however, is the Cattle Point Lighthouse. The historic venue, which was declared a national monument in 2013, is adjacent to the Washington State Cattle Point Natural Resources Conservation Area. San Juan Island visitors frequently make special stops to tour the lighthouse.
