Get Completely Lost In Purple Haze, A Beautiful 12-Acre Lavender Farm In Washington
Summer in Washington has looked a little different this year, and unfortunately, canceled and postponed festivals are a part of that. But if you’re accustomed to going to the annual lavender festival in Sequim, you’ll be happy to know that many of the lavender farms have been able to remain open to the public. That includes the beautiful Purple Haze Organic Lavender Farm, a favorite of locals and tourists alike for decades.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

The fields on the property contain more than 15,000 plants of more than 50 varieties, which looks even more beautiful than it sounds.

The rainshadow of the Olympic Mountains creates a perfect climate for growing lavender, with less than 20 inches of rain per year. The climate is like that of the Provence region of France.

While the farm is still open to the public, the events have been postponed for everyone's safety.

It's an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and anticoagulant, just to name a few. Plus, it promotes peace and relaxation.

Everyone tends to love lavender products, so you can get a lot of productive shopping done here.

Come pick some lavender and enjoy the soothing sunshine.
Will you be spending any time in these lavender fields this summer?
