Tiny Train Lovers In Washington Will Enjoy Kitsap Live Steamers
Washington has a interesting railroad history, and it’s still possible to take a beautiful train ride through parts of the state. However, if you have little ones in your life, they might be more interested in a ride from Kitsap Live Steamers, a Port Orchard attraction geared toward teaching tiny travelers about train rides. And with their schedule running April through October, there’s still plenty of time to go.

Its mission is to educate the public regarding the legacy of railroads that helped build the country, and to promote railroad safety as well.

Your donations go directly to the maintenance of the track, the equipment, their buildings, and the park grounds that they occupy.

The group meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from April - October from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Babies can ride in slings or pouches with parents, and each train can hold a maximum of 20 passengers.

You can stop by for a quick ride or spend several hours here, enjoying a picnic lunch and the company of other passengers.

You'll be in charge of helping to set the trains up, take them down, and putting smiles on little faces in the process.

You can always count on them being there on the second and last Saturdays of the month, but remember, they take a break in the winter.
Address: 3101 Southeast Marbeth Lane, Port Orchard, WA, 98366
