Nestled in the small town of Hood, Virginia awaits a relatively little-known specialty museum that makes for a memorable day trip destination.
The Roaring Twenties Antique Car Museum is the largest of its kind in the state of Virginia. It's here you'll find 32 vintage cars on display.
All of the vehicles in the collection are from the 1920s and 1930s. Seeing these vehicles, which are all in relatively good condition, is an experience you won't soon forget.
Models include Hudson, Reo, Oakland, Peerless, Whippet, Studebaker, and Willys, along with several others.
In addition to vehicles, the museum houses all sorts of other antiques, such as old train engines, horse-drawn equipment, vintage advertisements, and household items.
While the location may be a bit off the beaten path, rest assured that the trip is well worth it — especially if you're a car aficionado!
Admission is just $5 for adults and $3 for children.
