This Train Ride Through A Virginia Zoo Will Enchant Visitors Of All Ages

If you’re looking for yet another unique way to experience the animals, you’ll love this family-friendly train ride through the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk. Not only does it give you a unique perspective of the animals, it’s also a downright fun excursion for visitors of all ages.

All aboard! The Norfolk Southern Express is a picturesque engine winding its way through the Virginia Zoo.

This bright red Zoo Train is a 1/3 model of the classic C.P. Huntington steam engine, offering passengers an authentic train excursion experience.

During the 20-minute ride, visitors will enjoy a unique perspective of the animals as the train makes its way past their exhibits.

All riders eager to participate can board the train near the Beazley Foundation Station near the Zoo's entrance.

From there, the train will meander along its 3/4-mile track at the perfect pace to witness the surroundings.

Admission for the ride is just $2 a person, and the proceeds go directly towards supporting conservation efforts and the upkeep of exhibitions.

This time of year, you never know what kind of monkeying around you'll be able to witness!
