Truly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. And that’s why we’ve developed some pretty strong opinions about life here in the Old Dominion. Without further ado, here are 7 things Virginians will defend ’til the bitter end.

1. Our mountains are the most beautiful

Sure, they may not be the tallest in the country. But they're absolutely magical. Whether you're hiking them, photographing them, or simply enjoying a scenic drive, you'll agree that it doesn't get much better. For proof of this, look no further than Shenandoah National Park.

2. Vanity plates are more fun
