After bundling up in your coziest winter layers, be sure to spend some time walking the red-brick sidewalks downtown. You'll admire the historic architecture and find plenty of friendly small businesses to visit.

Not to mention a cozy coffee shop where you can warm up with a hot beverage! Feeling adventurous? Hop in the car and visit a local winery or two. This region of Virginia is famous for its wines. Some nearby options include Barren Ridge Vineyards, and Rockbridge Vineyards, both of which are less than 30 minutes from downtown Staunton.
