Throughout the years, there have been some pretty serious winter storms in Vermont. Of all the brutal winter storms in Vermont, though, the January 2010 blizzard remains one of the worst. Resulting in a record snowfall in Vermont, the blizzard dumped 33.1 inches of snow on the Green Mountain State. The state’s second biggest snowfall came in 2017, when a blizzard pummeled the state with seemingly endless amounts of snow. In the end, 29.9 inches of snow fell in South Burlington.
