Everyone In Vermont Must Visit This Epic Waterfall As Soon As Possible

Hundreds of postcards, hiking guides, and portraits of Vermont have included the stunning Texas Falls.  The sights and sounds can be found after an easy hike into the Green Mountain National Forest in Hancock, and if you enjoyed our  “Ultimate Vermont Waterfall Road trip,” then you’ll love this spot.  Let’s take a look at what is so special about this waterfall, shall we?  Here is a great video by Gary Holmes showcasing the falls in all of its natural splendor.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

OK, now that we have seen that these falls are incredible, let’s take a closer look at how to get there and what makes them so special.

To get to the Texas Waterfall, follow Route 125 in Hancock. There is a sign and it is well marked – you won’t be disappointed when you see it!
