Located just minutes off of Route 91, this school bus BBQ spot has been attracting travelers and locals alike for decades.
The windows open for dining from April - November. You'll find the temptation of the drool-worthy menu and scent of the BBQ drifting through the air.
Curtis is a Georgia native who used to work as a fruit picker. He landed in Putney more than 50 years ago after a picking season that took him up the east coast and eventually opened this roadside stand.
The menu is simple. Curtis only cooks ribs and chicken, but those BBQ meats are done to perfection.
Bring your appetite, this meal is a BBQ feast you won't soon forget. Alongside the slow-cooked meats you'll find your favorite traditional sides.
This open-air restaurant has plenty of picnic tables. Enjoy the sunshine while indulging in the famous BBQ served from the legendary blue school bus. Stop in Wednesday - Sunday from 10 a.m. - dusk from April - November.
