Matthew Pearsall opened Our House Bistro in May 2010 together with his wife Maggie Barch with the intention of infusing mom's home cooking with gastronomic techniques.

The inside of their restaurant is filled with kitschy decor.

It was voted "Best Creative Chowder" at the 2015 and 2016 New England Chowdafest in Westport, Connecticut.

Their Sugar Shack mac and cheese is especially indulgent.

It features maple bacon, maple ground beef, and cheddar cheese and is topped with fried onions, jalapeno jam and scallions.

For brunch, indulge in their Chicken and Waffles.

A cheddar and bacon waffle is stuffed with fried chicken with cracked pepper gravy and a dash of Vermont bourbon maple syrup. So delicious!
