There are many cabins available at this family friendly destination and they even have kitchens and offer pet friendly accommodations. Let’s take a look at life at Jackson’s Lodge on the lake in Canaan, where guests have enjoyed all they have to offer for decades.

Jackson's Lodge's website says it all in a simple statement: "You don't mess with paradise."

And they're not kidding!

Each of these rustic cabins are equipped with modern amenities.

Each one has a living room area, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and two or three bedrooms.

They even have a lakeside porch and picnic tables!

Spend the day relaxing on the sandy beach.

Or take out a boat for a day on the lake. They have kayaks, rowboats, canoe, and paddle boats free of charge!

Beach volleyball is always a good idea!

You can watch the sunsets right from your cabin.
