Ever just feel the overwhelming need to get away? To spend time among nature? Living in Vermont provides us with plenty of picture-perfect ways to escape into nature. But, when you’ve only got an hour or two, consider a visit to this flower farm in Vermont. Embark on a tour (by appointment only) of the charming farm, and stock up on fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables at the farm store.

Breathe in the fresh air as you admire the rows and rows of colorful flowers at Flower Power VT in Ferrisburgh.

Led by Anne Flack-Matthews and her partner, Ed, the charming flower farm prides itself on being "one of the most diverse farms in Vermont."

In fact, the farm features more than 100 types of flowers and an assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Stock up on apples, strawberries, and heirloom tomatoes in the farm store. And, don't forget to pick up fresh Araucana chicken eggs.

In the summer, the farm hosts you pick days when visitors, for a fee, can pick flowers. Choose from such colorful flowers as sunflowers, snapdragons, and tulips.

And, if you're interested in learning the art of floral design, keep an eye out for the farm's workshops.

However, the Farm Store is open all year around. Stop by Sunday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
