The Roman Catholic shrine of Saint Anne is located on 32 acres of beautiful land with access to the shores of Lake Champlain.
Saint Anne is the mother of the Virgin Mary, and in the 17th century, a fort and a chapel were constructed on Isle La Motte as a line of defense to protect Montreal. The fort and chapel were both dedicated to Saint Anne.
At Saint Anne's Shrine you can roam the grounds and visit the various statues and plaques. There is also daily Mass in the chapel, a picnic area, a cafe, and a gift shop.
It doesn't matter if you are coming for Mass or simply a walk through the gardens. Either way you will find peace and a sacred and divine natural environment.
With access to the shores of Lake Champlain and views of the Adirondack Mountains, you will be in a perfect place to stop and reflect on all that is important in your life and surroundings.
