Shooting Star RV Resort is located in Escalante, and it's surrounded by the natural beauty of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The address of the resort is 2020 W. Highway 12.
The resort offers nine different Airstream trailers - each designed with a specific movie star and movie as a theme.
Each trailer is equipped with all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy luxurious bedding, a fully-stocked kitchen, heating and air conditioning.
Stay in Holly's Hideaway and conjure up Holly Golightly in "Breakfast at TIffany's."
Little details throughout the trailer harken back to the 1960s in this 34-foot airstream.
The trailer is decorated with movie posters and photos of Audrey Hepburn.
You'll feel like a young Robert Redford in the Kid's Hideout, a 23-foot Airstream commemorating Redford's performance in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Little touches with Western influence grace this trailer, which has all the amenities you're looking for, including a flat screen HDTV.
Of course the trailer includes a movie poster!
Each trailer also has a little deck with comfortable Adirondack chairs so you can enjoy the stunning scenery surrounding the park.
Other trailers include Ann's Cabana (Ann Margret in
Viva Las Vegas), Cary's Cabin (Cary Grant in North by Northwest), Bogie's Boathouse (Humphrey Bogart in Key Largo), The Duke (John Wayne in The Searchers), Sugar's Shack (Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot), Elvis' Pineapple Paradise (Elvis Presley in Blue Hawaii), and Mrs. Rutledge's Room (Lauren Bacall in The Big Sleep).
As the sun starts to set, you'll be treated to one of the most spectacular sunsets you'll ever witness.
The sunsets out here are incredible!
You'll love the free drive-in movies on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings.
Sit in one of the classic cars parked in front of the big screen, or bring your camp chairs and sit under the stars.
You'll love the peace and quiet you'll experience at this quirky little resort so much that you won't want to go home.
