Take The Sweet Tour In Parowan, Utah To Find The Best Cinnamon Roll In The State
Parowan is a quiet little town with just 3,000 or so residents, and many people pass it by as they’re driving along Interstate-15 to places like Cedar City or St. George. It’s a mistake to skip a stop here, though – this town claims to have the best cinnamon rolls in the state, and you might want to taste them for yourself.
The town of Parowan created The Sweet Tour in 2016. It takes you to several local businesses that bake up some of the most delicious cinnamon rolls you’ve ever tasted.
Start at Parowan Cafe - an icon located on Main Street that's been around as long as the residents can remember.
Calvario's serves up delicious Mexican food, but it also bakes some delicious cinnamon rolls and cinnamon roll churros. They certainly don't skip on the cream cheese frosting, either.
Next, continue along Main Street to Mama Layne's Kitchen And Bakery, where you'll find an array of cinnamon rolls unlike any other. Hint: It's located inside the Chevron station.
This family-owned restaurant and bakery offers a classic cinnamon roll, but you can also find tons of different varieties. Try a salted caramel, Nutella, Oreo deluxe, and even a peanut butter & jelly sweet roll!
Grab a thick cinnamon roll slathered with frosting and head outside, where you can seat under the trees to enjoy your treat. This adorable little farm was founded in 2014, and grows vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers.
Parowan Dairy Freeze doesn't have cinnamon rolls, but it does offer a cinnamon roll shake! Thick and creamy, it's the perfect way to finish off The Sweet Tour.
