Take The Sweet Tour In Parowan, Utah To Find The Best Cinnamon Roll In The State
Parowan, Utah offers a unique Sweet Tour featuring some of the best cinnamon rolls from various local eateries.
Parowan is a quiet little town with just 3,000 or so residents, and many people pass it by as they're driving along Interstate-15 to places like Cedar City or St. George. It's a mistake to skip a stop here, though - this town claims to have the best cinnamon rolls in the state, and you might want to taste them for yourself.
The town of Parowan created The Sweet Tour in 2016. It takes you to several local businesses that bake up some of the most delicious cinnamon rolls you've ever tasted.
Start at Parowan Cafe - an icon located on Main Street that's been around as long as the residents can remember.
The cafe offers all kinds of tasty comfort food, but you'll definitely want to sink your teeth into one of these tasty cinnamon rolls.
You're just getting started, so keep that sweet tooth ready! Head across the street to Calvario's Family Restaurant.
Calvario's serves up delicious Mexican food, but it also bakes some delicious cinnamon rolls and cinnamon roll churros. They certainly don't skip on the cream cheese frosting, either.
Next, continue along Main Street to Mama Layne's Kitchen And Bakery, where you'll find an array of cinnamon rolls unlike any other. Hint: It's located inside the Chevron station.
This family-owned restaurant and bakery offers a classic cinnamon roll, but you can also find tons of different varieties. Try a salted caramel, Nutella, Oreo deluxe, and even a peanut butter & jelly sweet roll!
Head along Main Street to 200 South, then turn onto 600 West to find Sweet Pea Farm & Orchard, where you'll get a taste of the rural Utah life.
Grab a thick cinnamon roll slathered with frosting and head outside, where you can seat under the trees to enjoy your treat. This adorable little farm was founded in 2014, and grows vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers.
If you still have enough room for one more sweet treat, stop at the Parowan Dairy Freeze before heading back to the Interstate.
Parowan Dairy Freeze doesn't have cinnamon rolls, but it does offer a cinnamon roll shake! Thick and creamy, it's the perfect way to finish off The Sweet Tour.
Stop by the Parowan Visitor Center to learn more about The Sweet Tour, and tell them which cinnamon roll was your favorite.
Have you tried the cinnamon rolls at one of these spots in Parowan? Which are your favorite?
