You’ll Absolutely Love This Groovy Utah Restaurant

Every once in awhile, we run into a restaurant that completely surprises us. This little sushi restaurant in Salt Lake City is fairly unremarkable on the outside... but wait until you see the dining room! Oh, and did we mention that the sushi is amazing? Take a look:

Sushi Groove is located at 2910 S. Highland Drive. It looks like just a regular restaurant, but when you step inside you'll be pleasantly surprised.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the huge octopus mural.

This isn't just any octopus... it's a musical octopus.

This place is all about fresh, creative sushi and live music.

Check the menu board for the latest offerings and daily specials.

One of the best things about this cool little sushi bar is the live music.

Local bands keep things hopping here, and sometimes a DJ is here, too.

The Fresh Cuts section of the menu includes nigiri/sashimi.

The fish really is incredibly fresh, and there's tons to choose from.

The sushi rolls are creative.

For something unique, try the Groovy Tuna, which includes Spicy tuna, mango, avocado, strawberry & cream cheese futomaki style, coconut battered & topped w/ eel sauce.

If you're not into sushi, try one of the rice or noodle bowls.

Get a combo meal that includes three pieces of California roll or spicy tuna roll.

You'll find a large variety of sake to choose from.

If you can't decide, try a sake flight. You can also pair your meal with red and white wines or domestic or imported beer.
