Let’s face it: life can be stressful. Whether you’re running kids from one soccer practice to another, helping aging parents, or dealing with a demanding boss, there are often plenty of day-to-day issues to keep you on your toes. You might feel some pressure and anxiety in your life, but if you live in Salt Lake City you could be in a lot better shape than the average American.
The website SkinStore.com recently conducted a study to see which cities in the U.S. were the most stress-free, and Salt Lake City topped the list at number one!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. The survey was conducted by SkinStore.com, a company that offers skin and beauty products. Its products might help your skin combat issues like acne and eczema, but the site also notes that stress can take quite a toll on your complexion. Its recent study took a look at several different categories to come up with a ranking of least-stressed cities to most-stressed cities.

Utah ranked #2 overall in the "working" category, with a score of 75.2, just a touch behind the number one city for working conditions, Billings, Montana, which had a score of 79.4.

Safety factors included crime, road safety, workplace safety, financial security, and emergency preparedness.

Salt Lake City offers lots of green space, from its city parks to its hiking trails, lakes, and ski slopes. No matter where you live in the Salt Lake Valley, natural beauty is right outside your front door.
