Every once in awhile, we find a hidden gem in one of Utah's small towns, and we can't help but share it with everyone we know. There's a little Italian restaurant in Ephraim that serves some delicious pizza, and the service at this family-owned place will make you feel right at home. Check out Roy's Pizza:
The next time you find yourself in the little town of Ephraim, head to Main Street for some tasty pizza in a historic location.
This family-owned Italian restaurant has been open for more than 25 years, and it's been a favorite amongst locals for every bit of that time. Discover why when you drop in.
The dining room has a fun, retro vibe with swivel stools at the bar and lots of cool vintage signs all over the walls. The service is fast and friendly, too. These folks will make you feel right at home.
You'll want to kick off your meal with an order of the mozzarella bread sticks. They're covered in gooey cheese and served with a side of Ranch dressing, marinara, Alfredo sauce, or BBQ sauce for dipping.
Try one of the tasty calzones. It's a 12-inch pizza that's folded in half and stuffed with three pizza toppings and sauce.
The pizzas here are pure perfection - the crust has just the right amount of bite, the toppings are fresh, and the ratio of cheese to sauce is spot-on.
If you'd prefer an entree, dive into some Italian fare. Create your own unique pasta meal with a choice of penne, fettuccine, angel hair, spaghetti, or bowtie, then add your favorite sauce.
You'll want to try some of everything, so bring the whole family and order pizza, pasta, and breadsticks to share.
Cap off your meal with an order of warm, gooey cinnamon sticks. They're served with a sweet cream cheese frosting.
Roy's also has a location in St. George, so make sure to stop by when you're in the neighborhood.
Both locations are open Monday through Saturday, starting at 11 a.m.
See the full menu on the Roy's Pizza website, and follow its Facebook page to see what the folks there are up to this week.
Have you dined at this little family-owned establishment? If so, we'd love to hear about your experience! If you're looking for more great pizza joints around the state, try this little hole-in-the-wall place that got its start by the University of Utah.
