This 4-Mile Hike In Utah Is Absolutely Stunning Any Time Of The Year
We may be a little biased but the Beehive State is home to some of the best hiking trails. From desert areas, red rocks, and majestic mountains, there is the most incredible terrain to explore. However, just because the seasons change, it doesn’t mean we need to put our hiking boots away. The Pine Hollow Trail, located near Timpanogos Cave National Monument, is one of these hiking trails that will provide stunning views all year long. This is one hike we recommend exploring four times a year and during each season in Utah.
The Pine Hollow Trail is a 4.3-mile loop trail in Utah and every mile is beautiful.
This trail is rated moderate as you will climb approximately 1,300 feet. The first mile is the hardest part of the trail and where you will find the steepest climbs.
You will also enjoy some of the most beautiful views of Mount Timpanogos and the surrounding area. This is certainly one of the most scenic hikes in Utah.
This trail does receive a lot of snow in the winter months. Often, the snow is packed down due to the heavy traffic on this trail. However, we recommend bringing along a pair of snowshoes to make the hike a little more enjoyable. Plus, portions of this trail do cross into potential avalanche terrain. Before you begin your hike, make sure to check the daily avalanche forecast here.
No matter when you decide to complete this 4-mile hike in Utah, you won’t regret it!
