While there are several swimming holes near Moab that are worth your attention, one of our favorite natural swimming holes is found in southern Utah. Toquerville Falls is a gorgeous tiered waterfall with a natural swimming hole at the bottom. To reach these falls, you will have to drive on a rough and bumpy road for several miles but the large waterfall and swimming hole are worth the journey! Just be aware that these falls can become quite busy, particularly on a hot summer day, so you may want to plan your visit during the week or early in the morning.

What are some hiking trails near Moab that I should tackle?

In the Manti-La Sal National Forest and near Moab is the Brumley Arch Trail. This scenic hiking trail in Utah is only 1.8 miles, but it is quite steep in areas, making it a more challenging trail than others in the state. However, you will travel through groves of aspen trees and evergreens. You will also cross small creeks and surround yourself with beautiful mountain forest views. At the end of this hike, you’ll come to an arch and a small waterfall that are quite remarkable. This is one trail where every step is absolutely gorgeous.
