You Won’t Regret Spending The Day At One Of The Oldest And Largest Farmers Markets In Utah
During the summer, one of the best ways to spend a Saturday morning is at a farmers market and the Downtown Salt Lake City Farmers Market must be at the top of the list. This market is a bit unique as it is one of the longest-running and largest markets in the entire state. With dozens of vendors, thousands of visitors, and so much to purchase and devour, this is one market you’ll insist on visiting week after week.
The Downtown Salt Lake City Farmers Market is located in Pioneer Park and has been offering fresh produce, food, and other goods since 1992, making it one of the oldest farmers markets in Utah.
This is no small market. You will find more than 100 vendors from all over Utah at this market week after week. In fact, some vendors travel more than 200 miles to sell here.
Don’t be surprised to see lively, happy guests — maybe even some who are dancing. There are many street musicians who make appearances at the park as well.
Just adjacent to the farmers market is the Downtown Art and Craft Market, which is located on the southern end of Pioneer Park. More than 150 local artists set up with their jewelry, art, photography, and more to sell.
