The First Mexican Restaurant In Ogden, Utah Has Served Delicious, Authentic Food Since 1963
We can’t imagine a Utah town without a Mexican food restaurant. Utahns love their tacos, fajitas, and burritos, and have strong opinions about which restaurants are authentic, and which are not.
Residents in the city of Ogden didn’t enjoy Mexican food at a restaurant until 1963, when El Matador opened its doors. Now it’s a local favorite!
