Much of Utah consists of a vast sweeping desert, and that’s particularly true for the southeastern portion of the state. Don’t get me wrong – our desert landscape definitely has much to offer, but every once in a while you stumble upon a little oasis tucked right in the middle of sagebrush and sandstone. This one is known as Green River, Utah.

With the Book Cliffs as a background, this little town sits right on the banks of the Green River.

It's named after the majestic river and it has less than a thousand residents. It's small enough to have that hometown feel but big enough to have a few amenities that really make it interesting.
This is truly an oasis with plenty of trees and green spaces.

This campground has plenty of space with approximately 50 campsites and most of them offer hook-ups. There is a cabin you can also reserve if you want more of a glamping experience and two group campsites if you wish to bring a large group along.
The picnic areas provide views of the river, making for the perfect day spent outdoors.
