This network of trails and roads begins on the Delmarva Peninsula on the Atlantic and continues through Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and finally, California. While this distance would seem taxing to even drive, there are avid outdoor enthusiasts who have completed its entire length.
