Starting from either Stowe or Manchester, this road trip to the tallest waterfalls in Vermont will lead you to five different and unique falls throughout the state.

1. Bingham Falls (Stowe)

The first on the list is Bingham Falls in Stowe, considered one of Vermont's most famous waterfalls, for good reason too. While not the tallest on the list, these falls are still quite exceptional. The falls are around 30 feet, and there is a nice swimming hole at the base of the falls where you can swim.

2. Moss Glen Falls (Granville)

Not to be confused with the Moss Glenn Falls in Stowe, this falls with the same name is located in Granville. Stand in awe and watch as the falls dance down the rock face cliff and land nicely in a small teal-colored pool. This waterfall is one of the most beautiful and elegant in all of Vermont. 3. Marshfield Falls (Marshfield)

Next on our road trip of the tallest waterfalls in Vermont is the little-known and secluded Marshfield Falls located in Marshfield. The drop of the falls is around 40 feet in height and flows down a steep and narrow rock face.

4. Thundering Brook Falls (Killington)

To reach the Thundering Brook Falls, you'll embark on a short and sweet half-mile walk out to the waterfall. This epic 125-foot falls tumbles down a plethora of rock ledges, making it one of the most unique and fascinating falls in Vermont. Check out the hike and falls HERE for more details.

5. Lye Brook Falls (Manchester)

One of the tallest waterfalls in Vermont, Lye Brook Falls, is located in the massive Lye Brook Wilderness in southern Vermont. The 25-foot falls flow down a breathtaking scene as the water rushes down a myriad of natural stairs. A hike is required to reach the falls; the trailhead is located on lye Brook Falls Srv Rd. in Manchester Center.
