Located on 110 acres, there is just as much to explore outside as there is inside!
The museum was first established across the Connecticut River in Hanover, New Hampshire, and moved to Norwich in 1989.
In fact, the name Montshire is a combination of "Vermont" and "New Hampshire."
This busy museum attracts over 150,000 people each year!
