Most People Don’t Know These Small Towns In Utah Have AMAZING Restaurants

It’s pretty easy to find an amazing restaurant along the Wasatch Front - you’ll find literally thousands of Utah-owned cafes, restaurants, delis and more from Provo to Ogden. It’s a little harder to find good eats in some of Utah’s small towns, but it’s certainly still possible. Here are 15 restaurants in Utah’s small towns that are simply amazing.

1. Arshel's Cafe, Beaver

Visiting Arshel’s Cafe in Beaver is like taking a step back in time...maybe to the 1960s. Not only are you eating in a retro restaurant, the food is REAL food (back before everything had corn syrup added to it). Don’t miss the pie. 711 N. Main Street, Beaver.

2. Balanced Rock Eatery and Pub, Helper

It’s renowned for its breakfast, but don’t miss the other two meals of the day at Balanced Rock Eatery and Pub. Try the Rock Chips. 148 S Main Street, Helper.

3. Cluff’s Carhop Cafe, Fillmore

Cluff’s Carhop Cafe opened its doors in 1950, and it still has that '50s vibe. I’d love to recommend the best menu item, but I can’t - everything is good! 270 N Main Street, Fillmore.

4. Eklecticafe, Moab

It’s a coffee shop and cafe all in one, and it has amazing food! Dine on the patio. 352 N. Main Street, Moab.

5. Escalante Outfitters, Escalante

Escalante Outfitters has cozy cabins for you to stay overnight, but even if you’re not staying you should definitely not miss the amazing pizza, calzones and breakfast menu. 310 W. Main Street, Escalante.

6. Farlaino’s, Price

The sign in the front window says, "Where the locals eat," and they aren’t kidding. Locals eat there because they know it’s so good! 87 W. Main Street, Price.

7. Hell's Backbone Grill, Boulder

Farm-fresh, locally sourced food in the middle of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument? Yes! After your white-knuckle drive across Hell’s Backbone, stop in at Hell’s Backbone Grill for some truly amazing food. 20 UT-12, Boulder.

8. Hi Mountain Drug, Kamas

If you don’t know it’s there you might miss it - this restaurant is inside the drug store. By all accounts, it offers one of the best burgers in the state (and handcut fries)! 40 N Main Street, Kamas.

9. Maddox Ranch House, Perry

A Utah icon, Maddox Ranch House has been serving up delicious steaks since 1949. 1900 S Hwy 89, Perry.

10. Mollie’s Cafe, Snowville

Mollie’s Cafe is a teeny, tiny little spot in Snowville that you shouldn’t miss. Yelp reviewer Tom D. summed up the cinnamon roll best, "A cinnamon sugar spiral staircase that will take you directly up to flavor heaven." 15 E Main, Snowville.

11. Parowan Cafe, Parowan

You’d expect a cafe in such a small town to be pretty empty...but it’s usually packed with locals. That fact alone should tell you how good it is. 33 N. Main Street, Parowan
