There are plenty of historic towns in Texas where you can experience our state's rich and fascinating history. One of them is Seguin, a charming town nestled in the iconic Hill Country region. So, you may be wondering, "Where is Seguin, Texas?" Seguin is located in Guadalupe County and has a population of nearly 30,000. Its small-town charm makes it a wonderful day trip destination. Founded just over a year after Texas gained independence from Mexico, Seguin is one of the most historic towns in the state. It's named after Juan Seguin, a Texas army captain.
