Carlton, Oregon, is a charming small town known for its rich history, picturesque scenery, and numerous wine tasting rooms.

Carlton is a charming small town located in Oregon's wine country. It's a rural paradise in Yamhill county, and you're going to fall in love with this place when you visit.

The town got its start in the 1840s, and its residents are proud of its agricultural and logging history.

You'll definitely want to check out the recently restored Carlton Grain Elevator. Built more than a century ago, it's 110 feet tall, and the most iconic structure in town. Today, you'll find the tasting room for Flâneur Wines here.

...and there are dozens to choose from. Carlton bills itself as "The Wine Capital Of Oregon," and you'll soon see why.

With almost two dozen wine tasting rooms, Carlton boasts the distinction of having the highest tasting room per capita in the entire country!

Carlton is beautiful throughout the year. In the spring, the hills are covered in brilliant red clover...

In September, the Carlton Crush Harvest Festival brings wine lovers from all over the state to participate in the grape stomp competitions.

The winter landscape is a frosty wonderland, and a beautiful spot to snuggle in for a romantic staycation.
