Welcome to the East Troy Electric Railroad.
This railway is located just 30 minutes outside of Milwaukee.
This railroad holds some of Milwaukee's richest history.
The mission of this nonprofit group providing awesome train rides is to preserve the rail history of Wisconsin and the entire nation.
The line is the last of the Milwaukee Electric Railway & Light Rail system.
The historic electric trolley and interurban cars have been preserved by ETRR.
This rail system used to operate over 200 miles of railroad in Southeast Wisconsin.
Although the track between Mukwonago and East Troy is the last of it, it's kept in perfect condition and ETRR is dedicated to sharing the fascinating history with us all.
You can ride on these historic trains from April through November.

East Troy Railroad also offers dinner trains.
This 2.5-hour dining experience is unlike any other. They have special train rides, including a Burger Dinner, Pizza Dinner, and other fun and uniquely-themed rides.
You'll see some truly incredible views.
These epic train rides show Wisconsin scenery unlike any other. Passengers can hop on the train at three different locations: East Troy Depot, Elegant Farmer, or Indian Head Park in Mukwonago.
East Troy Railroad also operates a one-of-a-kind museum.
The museum gives you the opportunity to learn more about Wisconsin's railway system. The depot is open a half hour before the first train leaves and stays open until the last train comes in for the day.
