Isn't it astounding just how many historic sites in Michigan there are to explore? One of our favorites is a special place known as the William G. Thompson House Museum & Gardens. This regal, Queen Anne-style house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to the stunning architecture and design of the home itself -- including an impressive collection of artwork -- visitors can also look forward to touring the on-site gardens. In short, a visit to this historic house and gardens will feel like taking a stroll through Michigan's past.
Tucked away in Hudson, Michigan awaits a historic gem known as the William G. Thomas House Museum.
The home was constructed in 1891, in a distinct Queen Anne style. Over its lifetime, it was home to three generations of the Thompson Family.
