We wanted to keep this delicious road trip short and sweet, so total drive time is about an hour and fifteen minutes. Of course, you'll also want to plan time to stop and chow down at each and every spot.

Pioneer Pit Beef - Catonsville

The first stop is Pioneer Pit Beef in Catonsville. This place boasts over 1,000 Google reviews and nearly every one is five stars. Patrons love the massive portions of tender meat. Keep in mind this this delectable spot is cash only.

Jake's Grill - Cockeysville

Head to Jake's for a downhome atmosphere and mountainous meats. Reviewers love the piled-high sandwiches and also say that the sides are just as good as the main course.

The Peppered Pig - Butler
