5. Maker’s Mark Distillery

Another industry legend, you’ll find the Maker’s Mark distillery in Loretto. Maker’s Mark has left its (ahem) mark on the spirits world with its signature bottles dipped in red wax. Come to the distillery to learn how bourbon is made here and enjoy a tasting, too.

I did say this road trip would involve Bluegrass music, right? Don’t worry, I didn’t forget. So, here we are at The Rosine Barn, a venue with roots steeped in Bluegrass history. In fact, some of the most famous Bluegrass musicians have played here over the years. Stop by this National Historic Landmark and take in some live music.
