This Walkable Stretch Of Shops And Restaurants In Kansas Is The Perfect Day Trip Destination

Cars are certainly one of our favorite modern marvels, but there's also something to be said for an area that's entirely walkable. It's better for your health, fitness levels, and the environment, plus there's something charmingly quaint about heading out for a stroll. One of our favorite little walkable shopping centers in Kansas is Town Center Plaza in Leawood. This open-air shopping center consists of dozens of shops and restaurants, including many that you can't find elsewhere in Kansas.

Next time you're looking for a great shopping trip, this is a wonderful area to check out. Not only can you find a variety of stores, there are also several restaurants and even a movie theater.

If you're looking for clothes, you'll find plenty. Check out some of the large anchor stores, like Macy's, or the smaller boutique shops.

There are also plenty of shops where you can get home goods and other great products, whether you're seeking dish ware or exercise equipment.

There's even a Trader Joe's if you're in need of groceries.

Looking for entertainment? Not only is there an AMC Theatre, but you can also enjoy axe throwing, yoga classes, and more here.

If you're feeling a bit peckish, there are around a dozen restaurants to check out, at several different price points.
