Welcome to the little town called Lucas, Kansas. When a town called Blue Stem was renamed to Lucas, they probably never knew how curious this place would become.
Lucas is like the artist hub of Kansas. Not just any art, either. Art that combines so many found objects and concrete galore. Everywhere you look, you'll find something unique that might not have been there before.
Most of it lives at the Grassroots Art Center, where art of many kinds is displayed. You can even create some of your own during one of their events.

Artists like Florence Deeble have created something so unique that their work is locally famous. I mean, a miniature Mount Rushmore is bound to be noticed.
Since you may need a bathroom while you're here, don't worry. There's a giant toilet-shaped public restroom that was voted the #2 best public restroom in America. I mean, look at that giant toilet roll sidewalk!

While you're here exploring, you'll most likely work up an appetite. If Backstreet Bakery has bierocks available that day, you've got to get some! Anything they make is heavenly.
