Do you love all things fall and Halloween? Then you’re going to love this haunted train ride in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The Ghost Train of No Return and the Ghostly Trolley, run by Midwest Central Railroad, are spooky, good Halloween-themed fun that you’re going to want to experience.

Midwest Central Railroad is a railroad that operates on the grounds of the Midwest Old Thresher’s Reunion in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The track runs in a one-mile loop that features two stations.

The railroad has steam locomotives and railroad cars, and you’ll enjoy a scenic ride, with plenty of sights and sounds along the way.

The haunted train ride is spooky, but not so spooky that you can’t bring your kids along for the ride.

The ride runs on select dates throughout October, and the trains run from 6pm to 10pm. In 2018, train dates are October 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27.

No reservations are required, and this awesome ride is an "all you can ride" event. Prices are $12 per person, with children under four riding for free.

Aside from the train and trolley rides, there are plenty of other activities.
