We are all about those tiny towns that are peppered throughout our great state. Tiny towns are the bread and butter of Georgia, or some might even say the veins that keep our state alive. That's why whenever we get a chance to highlight the best of those tiny towns, we do. Take a look at these teeny, tiny towns that have a population of less than 300 residents. Talk about small living!

1. Seville, Georgia

Seville, Georgia may just be one of the tiniest towns in the entire state. Clocking in at barely over 200 residents, Seville is a blip on the map that you might miss if you're not looking for it.

2. Lexington, Georgia

Lexington, Georgia is a tiny town with less than 300 residents. However, many residents used to pass through on their way to Paul’s B-B-Q as part of the Southern BBQ Trail.

3. Lilly, Georgia

With just over 200 residents, Lilly, Georgia is one of the teeniest towns in the state. It originally was named "Midway" instead of Lilly, due to the fact it was the halfway point between Cordele and Montezuma.

4. Orchard Hill, Georgia

Orchard Hill is another small town that you may not have heard of in Georgia. Yet, the residents boast wonderful things about their tiny town, like their playground and picnic area for the kids.

5. Surrency, Georgia

Surrency, Georgia is quite small, yet it could be one of the most historically important spots in the state. In fact, Surrency has a haunted past, so much so that people will travel from all over to see if they can experience the paranormal.

6. Carl, Georgia

7. Brinson, Georgia

Brinson doesn't have more than 250 residents, but that doesn't mean that they don't like to have fun. Grab a bite at Pace's Fish Camp, or a beer at Pud's for a unique small town evening out.

With less than 2 square miles wide and barely 200 people that inhabit the town, Argyle, Georgia is certainly the tiny place that would make a list like this every time.

9. Montrose, Georgia

Montrose is a small town in Laurens County, Georgia with barely 200 residents. It's the type of place that just by passing through you can sense a community despite any sort of lack in size.

10. Taylorsville, Georgia

11. Roopville, Georgia

Never heard of Roopville, Georgia? Most people haven't. But it is a delightful small town filled with charm and Southern hospitality. You can see for yourself just by driving through Main Street.

12. Corinth, Georgia

Corinth, Georgia is a tiny town with almost 220 residents (could be more could be less depending on the day). However, there always seems to be something going on despite the small town vibe.

13. Danville, Georgia

Danville, Georgia is a tiny town with a fascinating history. Incorporated in 1809, Danville is incredibly rare and unique as it occupies two counties in the state: Twiggs and Wilkinson counties.
