Tanglewood Farms Miniatures sits in the foothills of Cherokee County smack dab in the North Georgia mountains.

With more than 150 rare, heritage, and miniature breed therapy farm animals, Tanglewood Farms Miniatures has a mission that we can all get behind.

For over 25 years, Tanglewood Farms Miniatures has encouraged, empowered, and enriched visitors with the therapeutic benefits that their kind, hand-raised miniature farm animals offer.

Some of these farm animals are actually the smallest in the entire world!

Tanglewood Farms was the first farm in the entire country to introduce a variety of miniature breeds from different areas of the world in order to develop what is called a "Foundation Bloodline" in order to preserve the bloodline of animals that are either extinct or near extinct.

Out of the 4,000 breeds of domestic animals that are in the world, 1,000 of those are in critical need of conservation in order to ensure survival.

Tanglewood Farms encourages the preservation of these breeds but also opens the farm to visitors in order to see and learn about the animals.

Because Tanglewood is a private working farm, visitors must make an appointment for a tour in advance, which lasts under an hour, but provides so much information and fun for all.
