Northwest Arkansas offers a 40-mile Razorback Regional Greenway trail that passes through scenic towns and provides numerous outdoor activities.
With over 250 miles of mountain bike trails, Northwest Arkansas is a mecca for bike enthusiasts. And one of the best trails in NWA is the Razorback Regional Greenway that stretches from Fayetteville all the way to Bella Vista. I am not a biker, but I would hike portions of this trail because it meanders past scenic lakes, city parks, bridges, art installations, and more. Additionally, the trail also cuts through the town of Lowell, which is a great pit stop along the way. With access to multiple waterways as well as hiking, biking, camping, and more, Lowell is the ultimate outdoor playground in Arkansas. Grab your bikes and let’s hit this 40-mile trail and then explore the town of Lowell for more outdoor adventure.

It's one of the most thrilling MTB trails in Arkansas and you'll love meandering past several lakes, entertainment venues, shopping, historic sites, art projects, and so much more.
At the halfway point on the trail, you'll get to the town of Lowell and it's the best place to stop and rest as well as to explore.
It's the smallest town along the trail, so you can expect some peace and quiet while you're there. To take full advantage of all the town has to offer, we recommend making this an overnight camping adventure.
Depending on when you get to Lowell, you can stop by Tater's Fresh Grill for the most delicious down-home breakfast in the area.
If you miss breakfast, then we recommend the Ozark Mountain Grill, where you can enjoy burgers, brisket, steaks, burritos, and more.
After you're nice and full, how about a game of disc golf? Head to Kathleen Johnson Memorial Park that features a 9-hole disc golf course that is the best course in NWA.
The park also has hiking trails, a farmers market, swings, playgrounds, picnic areas, and more.
If you're traveling with your family, then take the kids to Golf Mountain Mini Golf. It would be a fun outdoor adventure for everyone.
For a more traditional golf experience, be sure to visit First Tee - Northwest Arkansas. It's a full-service golf training facility where you can book private training for the entire family.
