El Cosmico Is A Quirky Yurt Campground In The Remote West Texas Desert
We all need to escape the daily grind every once in a while, and what better way than stealing off into the West Texas desert? That’s where you’ll find El Cosmico, a quirky yurt campground that offers a magical overnight stay.
El Cosmico is a nomadic hotel and campground nestled in the mystical high desert of West Texas. It offers temporary liberation from modern civilization and, consequently, serves as a second home for wanderers from all over the globe.
Mongolian yurts are one of many lodging options. Other accommodations include tepees, trailers, safari tents, cabins, and a spacious lawn area for tent setup.
22 feet in diameter, the yurts feature wood flooring, a queen bed, writing desk, sofa, electricity, and A/C. Fresh linens and towels for use in the community bathhouse are also provided.
Shared spaces like an outdoor kitchen, hammock grove, mercantile, and stage encourage guests to intermingle. You can also rent a wood-fired hot tub and bikes to explore the town!
Each safari tent measures 120 square feet across and durable canvas walls and doors. They come equipped with queen beds, a chair, simple lighting, electricity, and heated blankets during winter.
